Debbie DeSimone

Debbie DeSimone, a certified nutritional therapy practitioner, restorative wellness practitioner, and Epidemic Answers health coach, is the creator and owner of High Desert Nutritional Therapy, LLC in White Rock, NM.

Her extensive background in early childhood education helps to inform her nutritional work with young children and families. Debbie has a particular passion and interest in supporting families struggling with the “new epidemics” of childhood, such as allergies and sensitivities, ADHD, autism, PANDAS/PANS, and various other challenges.

Debbie emphasizes a real, whole food diet which focuses primarily on adequate digestion and microbiome support, inflammation reduction, the connection between gut health and mental health, healthy fats for the developing body and brain, and healthy protein and carbohydrate intake.

Debbie also teaches a 5-week RESTART Class for adults. This class is a powerful combination of nutrition education, 3-week sugar detox, and support group. Each week focuses on a different nutritional topic related to the foundations of health:

    • Week 1 is an introduction to the program;
    • Week 2 includes information and a discussion on healthy digestion;
    • Week 3 focuses on healthy blood sugar regulation;
  • Week 4 focuses on the importance of healthy fats and which fats are healthy; and
  • Week 5 is about the best way to move forward and reintroduce foods, a recap of the class, and a celebration of completion.

Debbie has two amazing sons, aged 15 and 11, who have recently overcome challenges with PANDAS/PANS, partially through the

support of nutritional therapy.

Through her journey with her children, Debbie has developed strong empathy and compassion for families struggling with these known and unknown/misunderstood challenges. She also has learned how to navigate appropriate resources for necessary medical support,

both conventional and holistic.

Patricia Wald-Hopkins, IWoLA Treasurer

Patricia is a licensed massage therapist, Reiki master, energy coach, and scientist. She has been practicing healing arts since 2008. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Health and Toxicology.

For more than 20 years, she has assessed the mechanisms of how environmental stressors, particularly toxins in the environment, affect the body and the larger ecology. She was a board-certified toxicologist for 10 years and worked in scientific research laboratories and in the corporate world, focusing on the risk assessment of the biochemical and physiological aspects of stress, primarily on ecological systems.

Her focus for the last decade has expanded to include exploring the biochemical effects of essential oils and other healing modalities on holistic well-being.

Trish's work combines scientific and intuitive modalities that support you to live a life filled with joy, love, and creativity. She specializes in energy medicine to support your well-being and the manifestation of an enriching lifestyle based on your needs and desires.

Trish uses a fusion of hands-on and distance energy medicine techniques and lifestyle coaching with options for experiencing a vibrational healing with sacred sounds and essential oils supported by nurturing bodywork that supports clearing, healing, and nurturing of the physical body and light body with all its energy centers so that you can be at your highest level of luminosity in all your manifestation and creations on earth.

Trish also creates healing art, sacred spaces, and sanctuary for healing and living by clearing toxic energy from your body and spaces and filling it back up with the good stuff.

She spent many years in the laboratory studying the biochemistry of life under environmental stressors, which has supported her alchemy and optimization of lifestyle to nourish the body and find harmony in your environment. Trish also creates alchemical elixirs with essential oils and crystals using high-vibration ingredients to create embodiment support through plant allies.
